Welcome to the support section for Skyline Briefing, an editorial project by Aviation Eagle! Here you will find answers to frequently asked questions about who we are, how we operate, and how you can contribute to our database.
Skyline Briefing (NATIVE VERSION: ITALIAN ONLY. Available in English and Others Language using Google Translate extension on Google Chrome) is the editorial project by Aviation Eagle dedicated to information and analysis of the aviation world. We serve as a specialized column and reference database (accessible at: sb.aviationeagle.co.uk) that aims to offer in-depth articles, detailed factsheets, and up-to-date data concerning:
Aircraft Manufacturers: Profiles of major aerospace manufacturing companies.
Aircraft Models: Technical specifications, operational history, and variants of aircraft.
Airlines: Information on fleets, routes, and business models.
Our goal is to provide students, professionals, and enthusiasts with a reliable tool for navigating and understanding the complex landscape of civil and military aviation.
Skyline Briefing operates as an online searchable resource. Our operation is based on:
Data Collection: The Aviation Eagle team continuously researches and verifies data and information from authoritative sources within the aviation sector.
Editorial Production: The collected data is processed into informative factsheets, articles, and concise, detailed briefings.
Updates: The database is periodically updated to reflect changes in the industry, such as the introduction of new models, the formation of new airlines, or fleet evolution.
Accessibility: All content is intuitively organized on the website to facilitate easy searching and consultation by the user.
How to Find Information: You can navigate within the categories (Manufacturers, Aircraft, Airlines) or use the search function (if available on the site) to quickly find the factsheet or article of interest.
If you cannot find a particular item in our database and wish to request the inclusion or addition of a specific Aircraft Manufacturer, Aircraft Model, or Airline within our column or reference database, please forward your request to the following email address:
Email for Inclusion Requests: campaign.aviationeagle.info@gmail.com
What to Include in Your Request: To expedite the evaluation process, we suggest specifying:
The type of item (Manufacturer, Aircraft, Airline).
The exact name and/or ICAO/IATA code, if applicable.
A brief justification for inclusion (e.g., "Important regional airline" or "Lesser-known historical model").
Review Process: Our review team will carefully assess the proposal based on our editorial criteria for relevance and pertinence. We will contact you if any further information is required for approval and inclusion.
These Terms and Conditions govern the procedures, conversion rates, and limitations regarding the use of loyalty program points (Aeros) in exchange for monetary reductions (discounts) on transactions made within the Aviation Eagle network. Activating the points deduction during checkout implies full and unconditional acceptance of the following clauses.
Under ordinary conditions and in the absence of concurrent promotions or limitations, the baseline conversion rate dictates that every block of 600 Aeros points entitles the user to a €5.00 discount on the total transaction amount.
The simultaneous use of Aeros points and a Gift Card within the same purchase is subject to strict value thresholds and modifications to the conversion rate:
Maximum Voucher Threshold: If the face value of the applied Gift Card is greater than €50.00, the deduction and use of Aeros points shall not be permitted.
Surcharge Regime (Under-Threshold): If the value of the applied Gift Card is equal to or less than €50.00, the use of Aeros points is permitted, but the transaction will be subject to a point tariff surcharge. In this scenario, the applied rate will be 1,000 Aeros points for every €5.00 discount.
During the calendar month of the account holder's birth, the Point&Sky program applies preferential promotional conditions that reduce or waive standard conversion requirements:
Birthday Promo Rate: In the absence of Gift Cards, the standard deduction is reduced to a promotional rate of 500 Aeros points for every €5.00 discount.
Surcharge Waiver: In the event of concurrent use of a Gift Card (provided its value is equal to or less than the €50.00 threshold, pursuant to Art. 2.1), the standard surcharge is waived. The applied conversion rate is reverted to 600 Aeros points for every €5.00 discount (equivalent to the standard rate outside the birth month).
The discount guaranteed by an individual's tier within the Point&Sky Status is to be understood strictly as the MAXIMUM potential reduction that can be applied to a transaction.
The final effective discount is variable, calculated based on the specific composition of the shopping cart, and may reach the threshold indicated by the user's Status, but it is not identical or guaranteed to the same extent for every type of purchase.
Benefits, discount caps, and privileges associated with Point&Sky Status do not apply and are not cumulative when using Gift Cards.
Support Note: Systems will automatically apply the maximum thresholds and compatibility blocks described above at checkout.
